Josh Lake
Director & Co-Founder
Josh has worked in veterinary recruitment since 2019 and co-founded Veterinary Recruitment Specialist in 2023. Josh has spent this time building an extensive network of both veterinary professionals and veterinary employers. Josh has a strong passion for veterinary recruitment and prides himself on building honest relationships with both candidates and clients. He firmly believes in ensuring that the position is a suitable fit for all parties involved.
Outside of work Josh enjoys spending time with his friends and his girlfriend. His weekends involve football, trips to the pub and lots of walks with his fox red Labrador, Buddy.

Josh Raynor
Director & Co-Founder
Josh started working in the Veterinary Recruitment sector in 2016, he now has over six years of experience. Over time, he has established great relationships with clients and candidates throughout the UK, and has also conducted seminars at various colleges and universities across the country. Additionally, Josh has delivered multiple webinars for The Webinar Vet. In 2018, he was recognised as “Favourite Speaker 2018” at The Vet Trust Awards held during The London Vet Show. Outside of work Josh lives in Cranbrook, Devon with his wife, daughter, son and Labrador.
For hobbies, Josh enjoys regular gym workouts in his home garage gym, beach trips with the kids and long countryside walks with his Labrador, Bonnie!
